Viagra and the cure for Hypertrophy

Announcing the results of their finding in Washington, Chen Yan, an associate professor of cardiology explained that “Our results suggest that a PDE1a inhibitor alone can shut down abnormal cardiac growth, and when combined with Viagra or beta blockers, may do so in more than one way.”

Chen Yan works with the University of Rochester and is also, amongst other studies, seeking to see how the effect of Viagra on PDE enzymes can be used for other heat related conditions such as atherosclerosis and hypertension.
